Here are some of the key items accomplished during the 2021 - 2023 term:
Navigated through the various transitions during COVID; hybrid learning, in-person masked, and no mask requirements.
Negotiated new contracts with the Teachers Union, Educational Assistants, Van Drivers, Secretaries, and Cafeteria Workers.
Approved the return of the Davis Thayer building to the Town of Franklin.
Hired a new Superintendent.
Supported the hiring of many administrative staff; Assistant Superintendent, Principals, Assistant Principals, DEI Director & Interim Business Administrator
Attended the 2022 MASC/MASS Conference (3 day conference)
Assessed space and conducted redistricting analysis

FHS Jazz Band earning a Superior rating at the Massachusetts Association of Jazz Educators State Final
In addition to celebrating successes, Al supported the district in sponsoring educational trips abroad and to other states.
